Leading Others Starts With Leading Yourself
High-level professionals often find themselves stuck between the demands of performance and the need for personal growth. If you're an executive, entrepreneur, or team leader, you’ve likely developed a sharp set of tools for managing strategy, operations, and outcomes. But what happens when success on paper doesn’t translate to fulfillment, or when your role requires more emotional agility than technical expertise?
Executive Coaching for Business Owners is designed for professionals who are ready to grow. Not just in their roles, but in their relationships, leadership presence, and sense of purpose.
You might be facing:
Frustration with persistent interpersonal or team issues
A major career transition that brings uncertainty or imposter syndrome
Burnout, overfunctioning, or workaholism
Pressure from family expectations, personal legacy, or cultural narratives
Difficulty finding work-life balance or maintaining personal relationships
At this level, the challenges are rarely just logistical. They’re emotional. Identity-based. Relational. That’s why traditional business coaching often falls short, and where psychologically informed Executive Coaching for Business Owners can make all the difference.
It’s Not Just About Performance—It’s About Integrity
You don’t need another productivity system. You need a deeper sense of clarity about who you are, what you value, and how to lead from a place of grounded authenticity.
Together, we’ll focus on your internal development and not just on your external performance. This means exploring how your beliefs, behavior patterns, and life experiences are influencing your current leadership style—sometimes in ways you can’t see.
We’ll build:
Greater emotional awareness and resilience
Tools for effective, values-aligned decision making
Strategies for navigating power, influence, and conflict
Language to express your leadership vision with clarity and confidence
Practices that support healthy boundaries and sustainable work habits
Whether you’re scaling a business, preparing for succession, or leading a high-stakes team, executive coaching gives you the space to step back, realign, and move forward with intention.
I Work Best With High-Achieving Professionals Who:
Are navigating personal or professional transitions
Struggle with anxiety, overachievement, or perfectionism
Want to be both strong and emotionally attuned leaders
Lead teams or businesses where relational dynamics are high-stakes
Are successful on paper, but internally stuck or misaligned
Many of my clients are founders, family business owners, senior leaders, or professionals who carry significant emotional and financial responsibility, often for both their teams and their families. Some are struggling to find a sense of identity or self-worth outside of their work. Others feel the weight of legacy or unresolved relational dynamics.
We work to untangle these pressures so you can lead not just effectively but with clarity and integrity.
What Makes My Approach to Executive Coaching for Business Owners Different?
I bring a rare combination of training and lived experience to the table. Before becoming a therapist and financial coach, I spent over 25 years in wealth and investment management, advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners. I understand the pressure and isolation that can come with leadership, especially when the stakes are high.
My executive coaching for business owners approach is:
Psychologically Informed – I integrate emotional intelligence, systems theory, and coaching psychology.
Values-Driven – We focus on alignment between what you do and who you are.
Relationship-Oriented – You’re not just a leader. You’re a partner, parent, friend, and human being. We make space for all of that.
Nonjudgmental and Confidential – I offer a grounded, no-BS space to talk about the hard stuff you may not share with anyone else.
This is not bootcamp coaching. It’s not about pushing harder or hacking your habits. It’s about discovering what matters most and learning to lead from that place.
The Approach and Tools I Use in Executive Coaching for Business Owners
My executive coaching approach is structured, intentional, and outcome-oriented. I guide senior leaders through a focused process to clarify complex challenges, navigate internal and external obstacles, and build momentum toward strategic goals. Grounded in practical tools and real-time insight, our work strengthens your clarity, presence, and leadership capacity—so you can lead with greater confidence, alignment, and impact. Each session follows a purposeful roadmap, designed to deliver both immediate value and long-term growth.
Clients receive curated tools and skills tailored to their needs and goals, offering a road map through the program, including:
Assessment Tools – Designed to explore personal narratives, beliefs about money, personality traits, and communication styles.
Personal Growth Worksheets – Support the development of leadership capabilities, enhance performance, and align individual growth with broader organizational goals.
Values Clarification Exercises – Help individuals align decisions with core personal and professional values.
Communication Toolkit – Offers strategies to reduce personalization in conflict and support more effective, respectful dialogue.
How We’ll Work Together

Work-life balance and family relationship issues
Conflict management and communication strategies
Boundaries with work, team, or family
Anxiety around performance, legacy, or identity
Financial psychology, including money shame, avoidance, or guilt
We can work together short-term on a specific issue or long-term for deeper growth and integration. I tailor my work to you—your context, your goals, and your story.

Executive Coaching for Business Owners FAQs
-
No. Coaching is not therapy. Coaching is a structured, collaborative process designed to individuals gain clarity, make empowered decisions, and move toward meaningful personal or professional goals. It is not intended to address mental health concerns or process past trauma. That said, I bring my clinical lens to coaching, which allows us to explore your internal landscape in a deeper, more emotionally informed way.
-
Both coaching and consulting are collaborative, non-clinical services that support growth and problem-solving—but they differ in scope and focus.
Coaching is more introspective and individual, focused on leadership development, emotional insight, and personal alignment.
Consulting is typically system-oriented and issue-specific, often involving mediation, facilitation, or conflict management in a family or organizational setting.
Put simply: coaching explores the self; consulting addresses systems.

My Executive Coaching service is available to any adult who holds an executive and/or leadership role in the U.S. Meetings are offered virtually, via a confidential video-conferencing platform, or in person at my Kansas City, MO location.
